International Festival

Real life post! xD (It's going to be a bit short 'cause I have so much work to do before tomorrow...I wasted pretty much an entire weekend haha).

Anyway, today was the International Festival at my university (which I go to every year) and the various international clubs cook two or three native food items to sell (usually between 50 cents to 2 dollars). My three loves from this event every year are bubble milk tea, baklava, and curry. One year they had made mochi from scratch and it was DELICIOUS. I wish they had done it again, but that stuff takes forever to make.

So now I'm still full from curry, bubble milk tea, baklava, thai milk tea, green grass jelly milk drink, pandan desert with coconut milk, fried and steamed Chinese buns with condensed milk, candied fruit... Yes, I went to town on the food. I just didn't get a chance to have some noodles because I was quite full from going to a Chinese buffet with my parents earlier.

Coolest thing this year... they had someone at the Chinese booth doing watercolor paintings and a friend and I were the last two that he could do. Thank goodness since we were in line for half an hour. The one on the right is mine.

Now I just need a frame :)

Lol - well, I have a lot going on so I couldn't post about real life and do the 30 day challenge at the same time. But now that that is done, more real life stuff should start popping up :)

I hope you enjoyed some good French food. Sounds delicious :D

And yeah, I'm excited about how all of the pictures turned out. I wish I could paint as quickly as he did and that well too.
